This was (probably) going to be my last wedding with Barbara (or at very least, me second shooting for her, she’ll be second-ing for me a few times in the future I’m sure!)
I initially found Barbara with Mel & her girls in the Fisherman’s Cottage (where I spent most of the time showing off my new LED light!) Then I headed off to find Luke & his boys who had arrived by limo. Few quick shots here and at the front of Leez Priory before heading back to the girls.
I’m a bit obsessed with my macro lens and using it for the various shots of details throughout the day, combined with the aesthetics of Leez Priory it’s win-win. Mel had asked for the rings photographed like Mickey – which has now turned out to be one of my favourite rings shots!
The ceremony was held in The Coach House and on the top table featured a single red rose under glass cloche – a la Beauty & The Beast <3
Even though it was December, it wasn’t too cold so we managed plenty of photos outside, but kept the family pictures inside, in front of the fireplace – didn’t want to keep grandparents outside for too long.
Reception was held in the Great Hall in the main building, which is where guests spend the rest of the evening.
My fancy new light I was going on about lit the shot below with the tower in the background <3
