Playing catch up on some weddings from a few months ago now! Earlier this summer I was privileged to go to Northbrook Park, near Farnham, Surrey for Melody & Marcus’s nuptials – photographing with James at Digital Weddings.
Melody got ready with her girls in one of the new Mews cottages at Northbrook Park – I ended up getting up close and personal with girls – lacing up their dresses (one of my other skills!)
The marriage ceremony was held in the beautiful bright and airy Vine Room – I do like to complain about a dark room but this was the exact opposite, windows on 3 sides, tall white ceilings, white marble floor, ahhh light everywhere makes Clare a happy photographer!
The Bride & Groom chose to have a registrar perform the official ceremony then had a blessing from their own vicar – nice touch I thought! One of their Bridesmaids sung during the signing of the register too.
The reception began in the stunning landscaped gardens at Northbrook, but after a few selfies with the resident peacocks. Food was bought to you by a tasty buffet – if anyone can tell me where I can find Christora Sausages – please let me know – they were really good!
Melody & Marcus chose to do a lot by themselves, all the table decorations and organising was done by the Bridal Party, the MC was one of the ushers. They even had a self-serve bar area during the meal.
First dance was followed by a money dance then lots and lots of partying and dancing!
All whilst the peacocks had a snooze!
