Claire & Tom’s wedding was a pretty good day though, kicked off with Tom arriving with his squad in matching tuxedo lycra after a bike ride from Dunmow… in the rain. (I was fine, I had the van and just shot from the opened sliding door – like stationary paparazzi!)
Claire got ready in Maiden’s new Bridal dressing room – a decent room with plenty of open space for getting dressed and photos.
After the indoor ceremony (it’s England in November…) we attacked some groups photos and couple portraits, all against the lush Autumnal backdrop of Maidens Barn’s grounds – the oranges and reds in the leaves were so vivid I couldn’t stay away from them (see reoccurring theme – even in the night photos!) I used the excuse that the grass was wet and I didn’t want peoples shoes/dresses getting soaked… but lets face it – it was all about those trees!
Decent bit of grub (as always – thank you!) followed by one or two references to cycling in the speeches and before you know it, we are first dancing to Queens of the Stone Age.
