Alice & Paul found me through a 50th Anniversary I had shot the previous year – word of mouth and recommendation is definitely the best method of advertising!
We started the morning super chilled – with Alice getting ready at home, before walking to Paul’s parents house round the corner for a glass of bubbles and some photos with the Bridesmaids. I caught up with Paul at the Half Moon in Rayleigh (my ‘local’ – again!) for a pint before heading across the road to the Old Parish Rooms for the ceremony.
What a beautiful room to get married in! The huge windows flooding the room with lovely natural light – which just makes it easy to photograph at any angle!
After the ceremony we headed round the corner for a few group shots (at a place not in the church grounds – I had spoken to the vicar at Holy Trinity a few weeks beforehand to just double check we were OK to use this space). I’ve included the big shot of everyone to show how many we can fit in there!
Once the room had been prepared for the meal, we were allowed back – great opportunity for more pictures!
I then went home! I live about 10 minutes away so headed home to load up my pictures and grab a bite to eat before heading back in the evening to capture first dance!
