Charlie & Rich’s first date was V Festival, so when I first met them to ‘sell myself’ I pretty much fell in love with the ideas they had for their wedding day. We wandered around their garden, they pointed at where things were going to go, we chatted about their baby oak tree in a pot – and I talked about my oak tree hanging basket courtesy of the squirrel ;)
We started fairly early in the morning at the house, getting a few setting up bits and pieces, telling the Groomsmen to hurry up and get in the shower – I’m a bossy cow (friends everywhere are sarcastically screaming ‘NOOO!’ at their screens) – but it’s just because I want to get some piccies of the boys before I head off to see Charlie at her Mum’s.
Talking of Charlie’s Mum, she needs a mention – she hand made ALL of the bunting – epic!
Then we’re off to the church, service was complete with a selfie by the vicar, trying to get the whole congregation in (my second shooter dived out the way in the background!) Then we all headed back to the festival styled party in Charlie’s & Rich’s garden. Rich’s VW Camper van doubled as a bar for the welcome drinks. Food was provided in hampers by the caterers (we got one too!) And the band at the party at the end of the evening was excellent!
The wedding was amazing and totally up my street, they even had Foo Fighters as their first dance <3 <3 <3
