Laura & Moe @ Channels Estate

All my couples are equal, and I love you all the same. Except these two… I’ve seen them grow from the early days when they were just colleagues, then just friends, then we were all whispering ‘Are Laura & Moe a thing?’, then they were a thing, they moved in, they got a cat (hello George!) and all of a sudden 10 years have past and I’m photographing their wedding!
I’ll never forget my early days at Stacey’s Auctioneers, Moe was nicknamed ‘The Wizard’ because he just fixed everything so calmly and coolly. Just saying “There are no problems, only solutions” whilst the printer jammed for the fortieth time in one day – we ended up sticking a picture of Bob Marley to it… once we could finally get the thing to print…
And when Laura came to chat to the bosses about a job / work experience / something. She ended up with me in the photography room and I immediately put her to work – not really understanding that she was only there for a chat, and I’m making her carry 100+ piece china dinner services. Again, sorry, didn’t realise what was happening, but you did good!

So fast forward 10 years and Laura & Moe are getting married, and at one of my favourites too – Channels in Chelmsford <3
Despite the rain, we all had a rather fabulous time. Channels staff were amazing as usual, especially helping by moving a couple of tables so I could do my group photos in the Essex Barn and get the beautiful Christmas decorations in the background. We, as wedding vendors, always say our favourite venues are the ones where we are looked after the best and hands down Channels are one of the best for this. One love <3
